I have been an oncology nurse for eight years on the inpatient unit at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center. I'm certified in integrative medicine through the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Center for Integrative medicine and I have also received certification as a cancer exercise specialist at the University of Northern Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Cancer Rehabilitation Institute. In addition, I am the founder and Executive Director of Team Inspiration which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The foundation’s mission is to empower individuals living with cancer by providing exercise and wellness programs that improve their physical, mental, and spiritual quality of life. Team Inspiration has created the Cancer Warrior Exercise Program to improve cancer-related fatigue. I have recently returned to school to obtain my Master’s of Science in Nursing in Health Services Leadership and Management at the University of Maryland School of Nursing.
